A passionate economist, Sven is BPM’s Data Analytics Leader and Transfer Pricing Leader. He is an ambitious, proven leader with over 17 years of professional experience, spanning both industry and public accounting roles. When serving his clients, Sven takes a pragmatic, data-driven, hands-on approach, accounting for the business and operational needs of his clients and the stakeholders they answer to.
Sven brings this same approach to both transfer pricing and data analytics. On the transfer pricing side, he focuses on planning, documentation and implementation, value chain analyses, intellectual property and legal entity valuation, and tax controversy, with hands-on experience operationalizing policies across stakeholders. As a Ph.D. economist, he also applies economic and statistical concepts to deliver practical, data-driven business intelligence, including data analytics, dashboarding and reporting, predictive analytics / AI, market assessments, workflow automation (Python), and data migration and transformation.
Sven earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Innsbruck in Austria, along with a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Munich in Germany.
