Industries: Construction, Government Contractors, Professional Services, Renewable Energy
Rob leads NetSuite solution engineering for software, services, construction, and energy organizations, helping clients translate complex business requirements into scalable ERP strategies. With deep expertise in financial systems and business process optimization, he works closely with organizations and his development team to design solutions that extend ERP platforms and support operational efficiency and long-term growth.
Rob spent the start of his career helping Software companies adopt ASC 606 in their ERPs. He knows firsthand how to take a Technical Accounting memo and apply its principles to thousands of contracts and their performance obligations for revenue restatement.
After a couple of years, he joined BPM as a consultant and has been here ever since. In his time, Rob has become a trusted expert in advising companies on matters such as Salesforce integrations and complex billing scenarios for software companies, DCAA compliance for government contractors, project management/schedule of values management/job costing/etc. for Construction firms, and more.
One of Rob’s favorite ideas in business is Genchi Gembutsu, a Japanese term pulled from Toyota, which roughly means that if there’s a problem, go to the source. And while he is not a CPA, Rob often cites feeling like one from his experience pulling up T Charts on calls with clients to validate the GL impacts of the custom workflows he’s building.
Drawing on his broad consulting experience and formal training in AI and machine learning, Rob helps clients align financial and operational processes with technology solutions, ensuring successful implementations and maximizing the value of their ERP investments.
